It’s happening again! … the annual Warrigal Walk, Run, Roll, is on again this Australia Day at Wollongong Harbour.
The Warrigal Walk, Run, Roll is part of the MMJ Aquathon Australia Day event, one of the Illawarra’s premier sporting and community events held annually and featuring a swim and a run, for beginners to elite athletes.
The Warrigal Walk, Run, Roll is a fun walk, run or roll for all ages and all abilities. It is fully wheelchair and stroller-friendly so everyone can get involved and participate (in 2019 the oldest participant was 96 and the youngest just 2 months).
The full course is 4km around the beautiful Wollongong Harbour including the
spectacular 'blue mile', however there is also a wheelchair-friendly short course (approx 1km) and a mid-length course (approx 3kms) so every participant can achieve a distance to suit their personal goals (and get a participant medal).
Kickstart your Australia Day celebrations by getting a team of friends, family, neighbours or work colleagues together and register at www.aquathon.com.au/walk.
